Marriage is an adventure in which you share life, love, and the hard stuff. This blog covers all of that and more.
I’m Chelsea and I am just one half of Team Jander. I write for people like you, the average person looking for adventure, helping you understand how to find adventure in every moment in every day.
During our wedding preparations, Mama J proclaimed “I’m rooting for Team Jander.” The nickname stuck and we have used it to describe our family ever since. Without kids, people often forget that we’re a family unit; the Team Jander nickname helps remind them that we’re in this for the long haul.
We met in 2007 and tied the knot December 31st, 2010 in Ojai, CA. I was only 23 at the time. Our first home was in Seattle + then served 27 months abroad in Mexico as part of the Peace Corps. We currently live in the Denver metro area and are loving every minute of it.
This blog covers adventure, living, sustainability, environmental issues, random thoughts, and more. It’s my personal coming of age story that I am sharing with the world.
You’ll see Neal on here occasionally, but he is busy keeping up his own blog Lost Axis GIS. It is a great tool and resource for those interested in GIS (Geographic Information Systems), as well as conservation through mapping. He posts tutorials in both English and Spanish on a regular basis.
