Weekly Update: Ivar’s Tasting

Hello, Hello! We’ve got some fabulous updates to share with you all! We are officially having our Seattle Reception at the Ivar’s Salmon House on January 7, 2011 at 7pm! We had a tasting there last week… take a sneak preview of the venue:

The entrance to the Salmon House

The entrance! Check out the details…

The Ivar's Salmon House, modeled after an Alaskan indigenous long house!

The inside is SO beautiful — just like a Native American long house!

Entrance to Banquet Room

As you enter the banquet room, you are greeted with love!

The Lucky Bear

Upon entering, the detail is everywhere! So incredibly neat!!

Here’s the view from our tasting table. Gorgeous Lake Union views.

Food tasting!

Aaand the food was delicious!

We had a fantastic time at the Ivar’s Salmon House on Lake Union. We are so excited to have our Seattle reception there. It will be perfect for a cold, Northwest, January evening. I love it because it represents Neal’s love for Native American art and culture… not to mention that he currently works for the Snoqualmie Tribe! We love the Ivar’s clam chowder. Neal and I love Lake Union and had our first date at Gasworks (only a mile away) at the Lake Union waterfront. Everything will be splendid!

Thanks, Ivars for such a great experience! We look forward to celebrating our recent marriage there!

Love from the Northwest,
